2022-2023 Season Preview

The Bucks pushed the Boston Celtics to a Game 7 showdown without a healthy Khris Middleton showing that the championship window is still very much open. Continuity in the roster is a major strength as GM Jon Horst was able to resign every player from last years roster while adding free agent Joe Ingles to help with bench production. Major questions remain however.  How healthy is Khris Middleton? Can Jrue Holiday maintain his defensive prowress? Do the Bucks have enough shot creation and shooting?

Having Giannis almost guarantees the Bucks will be competitive but it will be up to Coach Mike Budenholzer to ensure the rest of the team will complement one of the top players in the league. The honeymoon period after winning the Larry O’Brien trophy and if the Bucks don’t return to top contending status there could be a new voice leading the locker room. The window to win with Giannis is still open but the East got a lot tougher with some offseason additions. The Milwaukee Bucks will have their work cut out for them if they want to make it back to the NBA Finals.
