2022-2023 Season Preview

The Magic are rebuilding for the future and are hopeful that Banchero will be the piece that propels them back to playoff contention. He has the potential to develop into a dominating playmaker with size, strength, and vision. Coach Jamahl Mosley will look to develop a two man game between Banchero and Franz Wagner to exploit size and skill mismatches. With Markelle Fultz, Jalen Suggs, and Jonathon Isaacs returning healthy the Magic will have youth and athleticism up and down the roster. Cole Anthony looks to take a leap and improve in efficiency after an impressive sophomore year.

Though they may not contend in the near future the direction the Magic have taken is certainly upward. The training camp battles and preseason games may just be must watch TV as exciting basketball seems likely in store at the Amway Center. Paolo Banchero will have season long buzz for ROY and HC Jamahl Mosley will look to feature the rookie every chance he gets.
