2022-2023 Season Preview

The Raptors are coming off of a strong season in which they made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals. They’ll be looking to take that next step this year and make it to the NBA Finals. With returning players like Siakam, Barnes, OG Anunoby, and Fred VanVleet, they have the pieces in place to ensure a cohesive two way team. ROY winner Scottie Barnes willed to take another step in developing a more polished offensive game to help Coach Nurse take advantage of his natural mismatch ability.

The Raptors have a lot of young talent on their roster, and they’ll be looking to take the next step this year to bolster the depth off the bench. Precious Achiuwa, Malachi Flynn, Dalano Banton, and Justin Champagnie all need to step up to provide consistent bench production. It will be up to Head Coach Nick Nurse to put all the pieces in place to make a deep playoff run this year. Expect a tough nosed defense and a much more consistent offense coming from the north as the Raptors expect to make noise this season.
