2022-2023 Season Preview

The Nets are expected to be one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. With KD, Kyrie, and now Ben Simmons returning they have all the talent they need to win a championship. If they can stay healthy, they should have no problem making it deep into the playoffs. Depth will be an issue for the Nets as they will rely on a mixture of young players and veteran free agent signings for bench production. Steve Nash enters his 3rd year as Head Coach and despite his overall record the past two seasons (92-62) many Brooklyn fans question whether he is the right person to lead the team.

This is a make or break season for Steve Nash as a Head Coach and quite possibly Sean Marks as GM. Nicolas Claxton’s performance starting at center and prospect Cam Thomas’ development will be counted on to help round out on of the most top heavy talented teams in the NBA. Should the Nets struggle in the opening of the season all eyes will fall on owner Joe Tsai who seems itching to make a move.
